Click the SlidingMenu and choose Remove, the SlidingMenu will be removed from your system (except the elements described under note 1) and you can continue install your newer SlidingMenu installer. 1. In the "Select Installation Folder" dialog box you are prompted with the question "Install SlidingMenu for yourself, or for anyone who uses this computer.", you should choose "Everyone". 3. If you have not bought a valid license, you can install a Freeware version by filling the Serial number with zeroes (you can read more about the license schemes in the License.txt file then finish install). If you have VS.NET IDE, the following will also have happened during installation (1): a. The SlidingMenu have been added to your Toolbox under the tab Web Forms (if you do not have Web Forms then under a new tab Menulab). b. An xml schema file have been added to your system defining the XSD background for IntelliSense then working inside a SlidingMenu xml tag in html-view. c. An xml file integrating with dynamic help have been added to your system. If you do not have VS.NET IDE no integration will take place during installation (2) and you should either: a) copy the Webmodelling.SlidingMenu.dll from the installation folder to the bin folder of any ASP.NET project where you use the SlidingMenu b) install the Webmodelling.SlidingMenu.dll to GAC Note 1: The current installer do not support deinstall of xml files and ToolBox items described under a, b. and c. in this file. It is not necessary to deinstall these elements in case of an upgrade of your SlidingMenu. However should you not like to continue working with the SlidingMenu and want to remove these elements from your system, you must do it manually (or wait for SlidingMenu version 2.1 which is planned to have an uninstaller). Note 2: SlidingMenu can integrate with the WebMatrix Toolbox, however you must do it manually after you have installed the SlidingMenu. --------------------------------- SlidingMenu software by Menulab ---------------------------------- -------------------------------- e-mail: slidingmenu@menulab.com -------------------------------- ------------------------ web: www.menulab.com?product=slidingmenu ------------------------
