Completing the Table Properties dialog box for a table cell

Use the Cell tab in the Table Properties dialog box to change properties for the selected table cell.

  1. Make changes to any of the following options:

    Horizontal alignment
    specifies how cell content is aligned horizontally. Options are Left, Center, and Right.

    Vertical alignment
    specifies how cell content is aligned vertically. Options are Top, Middle, and Bottom.

    Background color
    indicates the background color of the cell.
    Note: You can also click Highlight Color in the toolbar to change the color of the selected cell.

    Wrap text
    , when selected, indicates that text wraps to a new line when it reaches the end of the cell. When not selected, text does not wrap and the cell expands to accommodate the text.

  2. Click Apply to preview your changes, or click OK to apply changes and close the Table Properties dialog box.
