Set preferences for blog entries
You can set other preferences for blog entries.
In the Preferences dialog box, you can perform the following tasks:
Set options for the default blog to connect to, whether
to create a blog entry when you click the New Page button, whether
comments are allowed for blog entries, and whether to allow other
users to link to a blog entry using its trackback URLs (see Set Contribute preferences).
Note: Some blog
hosts do not support comments, or require you to set a preference
to allow comments. Review your blog host’s documentation for more information.

Specify the ping server URLs you want Contribute to notify
when you post a blog entry.
View a list of failed pings to the ping servers.
