Setting Microsoft Office document preferences (Windows only)
Use the Microsoft Documents option in the Preferences dialog
box to select a preference for inserting Microsoft documents.
Select an option to specify the default action that Contribute
performs when you insert a Microsoft document in a draft:
- Insert The Contents Of The Document Into The Current
Draft
- Copies the content of the selected document into the draft.
- Create A Link To The Document
- Inserts a link to the selected document.
- Convert To PDF And Create A Link To The PDF
- Converts the selected document into a PDF and inserts a link
to the PDF document.
- Convert To PDF And Embed The PDF As Object
- Converts the selected document into a PDF and embeds the
PDF document as an object.
- Ask Whenever I Insert A Microsoft Office Document Into
Contribute
- Lets you select how you want to insert the Office document.
Click OK.
