Closing the unlinked page warning

Contribute displays this warning message when you try to publish a draft that is not linked on your website. Visitors can’t browse to a new page on your website if you do not insert a link in an existing page to the new page.

  1. Select Don’t warn me again if you do not want Contribute to warn you when you are publishing a draft that is not linked from another page.

  2. Do one of the following:

    • Click Yes to publish the draft without linking to it.

If you click Yes, be sure to add a link to the new page after you publish it (see Link to a draft or a recently published page on your website). Website visitors can’t navigate to a new page on your website if you do not add a link.

    • Click No if you do not want to publish the draft without linking to it.

If you click No, browse to an existing page to insert a link to the new page (see Link to a draft or a recently published page on your website), and then publish the page with the link (which also publishes the new page at the same time).
