Completing the Replace File dialog box options
Use the Replace File dialog box to indicate how you want
to handle two files with the same name. This dialog box appears
when you try to publish a file from your computer that has the same
name as an existing file on your website.
Select one of the following:
Select Replace
the file to have Contribute replace the existing file on your website
with the file you are publishing or linking to on your computer.
Select Have Contribute create a similarly named file if you
don’t want Contribute to replace the existing file but want to change
the filename for the file on your computer.
Contribute
appends a number to the filename for the new file so that its name is
not the same as the existing file on your website.
Click OK.
