Completing the Publish New Page dialog box options

Use the Publish New Page dialog box to name a new page and save it to a folder before you publish it.

  1. (Optional) Change the filename.

The filename appears at the end of the web address for the page.

  2. Click the Choose Folder button next to the filename to save this draft in another location on your website.

The current folder location appears in the web address under the filename.

  3. To set a different expiry date, select the date in the Page Expires On option. (Optional.)

  4. Click Publish or Next.

If your new page draft does not link to any new pages, Contribute publishes the new page to your website, and then displays it in the Contribute browser. If your new page draft links to any other new pages, the Publish Linked New Files dialog box appears.

Note: Contribute warns you if you have not linked the new page draft from an existing page. After you publish the new page, be sure to create a link to it (see Link to a new blank blog entry).
