Completing the Publish New Linked Pages dialog box options

The Publish New Linked Pages dialog box appears when you try to publish an existing web page that contains links to pages that are not published. Use this dialog box to save the new linked pages before you publish your draft.

  1. For each unpublished linked page, you can click the page name to select it, and then change the filename and folder location.

The filename appears at the end of the web address for the web page. The web address is the location where Contribute saves the page on your website.

Contribute publishes the draft for the existing web page, along with any new pages it links to.

  2. To publish all linked pages with the same workflow as the page being published, select Publish All Dependent Pages Whose Workflow Is Same As The Main Page. For linked pages with a different workflow, the location on the site is finalized, but the pages are not published until their workflow is complete. To set a different expiry date than the one set by the administrator for the linked web page, select the date in the Page Expires on Option. (Optional.)

  3. Click Publish.
