Using the Browse For SWF dialog box

Use the Browse For SWF dialog box to find a SWF file on the Internet and add it to your website or blog entry.

  1. Browse to the URL that contains the SWF file.

    Note: You cannot select a folder to insert as a SWF file in a Contribute page.
  2. Click the navigation buttons in the toolbar in the dialog box as necessary:

    Note: In Mac OS, the navigation icons do not have labels. If you need help identifying an icon, position the pointer over the icon to see a tooltip.
    Back
    Returns to the previous page.

    Forward
    Advances a page.

    Stop
    Cancels the page download.

    Refresh
    updates your view of the page.

  3. Click OK to select the SWF file from the Internet.

    The SWF file from the Internet is inserted in the draft.

    Note: When you insert a SWF file in a page, the selected file is not downloaded to your local computer. The SWF file is inserted as a place-holder, which you can resize.
