Set video properties

You can set properties for videos you insert into your web pages.

Note: To edit properties for a SWF file, see Set SWF movie properties.
  1. Select the video placeholder in your draft.

  2. Double-click the video placeholder, or select Format > Video Properties.

    Right-click (Windows) or Control-click (Mac OS) the video placeholder and select Video Properties.

    Depending on the file you insert, a Video Properties dialog box appears.

    The following Video Properties dialog box appears if you are inserting any video file. The dialog box for FLV files has more options.


  3. Make changes as necessary.

    If you inserted a file other than FLV, for more information, see Completing the Video Properties dialog box.

    If you inserted an FLV file, for more information, see Completing the Video Properties dialog box (For FLV files).

  4. Click OK.

    Check your video file properties for the size of your movie. Then, double-click the video placeholder in Contribute to set the display size to the size of your video, so that your web page displays the video properly.
