Send web page drafts and files for review

For workflows other than Author > Publish, send the document for review or approval before you can publish the web page. The Publish button is enabled only after the workflow is honored. If your role doesn’t allow you to publish directly to the website, you can send the draft to someone who can publish it. For more information on workflows, see The draft review process.

You can use the e-mail review process to post web page drafts for review. For more information on using the e-mail review process, see The e-mail review process.

The review process lets you get feedback and collaborate with others on a web page draft or file. Reviewers can add comments to the draft or return the draft without reviewing it. The administrator assigns the workflow defining the review process for a template. For web pages without templates, and for templates without a workflow, Contribute assigns a default workflow.

Note: The draft review process only applies to web page drafts. It does not apply to any kind of blog entry.
