About GPU‑accelerated effects

Page Curl, Refraction, and Ripple (Circular) reside in the GPU Effects bin in the Effects panel. They take advantage of the video‑processing capabilities of GPU cards and of 3D shading. They are supported only on Windows systems with GPU (graphics processing unit) cards that support Direct3D, Pixel Shader 1.3+, and Vertex Shader 1.1+.

Note: Some effect options are not available if your video adapter doesn’t have Pixel Shader 2.0 and Vertex Shader 2.0.
