JBuilder 2005 Foundation: Deployment Documentation

This file defines the Redistributables for JBuilder 2005 Foundation and provides references to further deployment documentation for the following:

  1. The generated program or component class files
  2. Java Development Kit Runtime Deployment
  3. JDataStore
  4. Borland Look and Feel

1. Program Deployment

Refer to LICENSE.HTML for the details regarding redistribution.

For best results, use the Archive Builder included with JBuilder to create the .zip or .jar file(s) for use in deploying your target Application, Applet, or JavaBean component.

3. JDataStore

JDataStore is provided with a license for development only. To deploy JDataStore libraries with your application, a deployment license must be purchased.

Only the following JDataStore Libraries may be deployed with your application when you purchase a JDataStore deployment license:

To the extent that you are allowed to deploy under the terms of your license, you may deploy these classes in any of the following formats subject to the restrictions in the license agreement:

  1. As individual class files
  2. As the entire dx.jar, jds.jar, jdsserver.jar or jdsremote.jar file
  3. As class files included in your archive files, for example by use of the Archive Builder

4. Borland Look and Feel

To the extent that you are allowed to redistribute redistributables under the terms of your licensing, the redistributables for WebServer Plugin API are defined as the BorlandLookAndFeel.jar file in the /jbuilder2005/redist directory.

To the extent that you are allowed to redistribute the preceding redistributables under the terms of your license, you may redistribute these classes in any of the following formats subject to the restrictions in the license agreement:

  1. As individual class files
  2. As the entire BorlandLookAndFeel.jar file
  3. As class files included in your archive files, for example by use of the Archive Builder
