Identifier GUIDs

The Worksheet Metadata interface includes four methods which return the string representations of identifier GUIDs used to track worksheet provenance:

• DocumentID - returns a string representing the document identifier GUID.

• VersionID - returns a string representing the version identifier GUID.

• BranchID - returns a string representing the document identifier GUID of the parent worksheet.

• ParentVersionID - returns a string representing the version identifier GUID of the parent worksheet.

GUIDs are used to identify the worksheet in a catalog, such as a Designate repository.
