Zooming in on a 2D Plot |
To magnify a portion of a plot:
Click in the plot to select it.
Choose Graph > Zoom from the Format menu or right-click on the plot and choose Zoom to bring up the Zoom dialog box.
In an X-Y Plot region, press and hold down the mouse button at one corner of the region you want to magnify, then drag the mouse until the dashed selection rectangle encloses the region. In a Polar Plot, drag the mouse outward radially until a dashed selection circle encloses the region you want to magnify, beginning at the origin.
Click the "+ magnify" button to redisplay the plot.
When you click the "+ magnify" button; the axis limits are temporarily set to the coordinates specified in the Zoom dialog box. To make these axis limits permanent, click "OK." Press the "- magnify" button to back up to a previous magnification, or the "full view" button to restore the original plot when you've zoomed in on a plot more than once. The "full view" button will restore any original settings on axis limits.
