Entering Text |
Besides math regions, you can also add text and images next to the math in your worksheets.
To create a text region:
Click to start the region.
Choose Text Region from the Insert menu, or press the double-quote ["] key. You can also just start typing text and once you type a space, Mathcad begins a text region. A text box with a red text cursor appears.
As you type, the text box grows. The text is formatted according to the "Normal" text style.
When you finish typing, click outside the text region. Do not press [Enter]. Doing so simply creates a new line inside the text region.

Behavior of a Growing Text Region |
You can specify whether a text region overlaps other regions or pushes other regions down in the worksheet as it gets bigger.
As you type, a text region grows until it hits the right margin. Then a new line begins below. If any other regions are below or to the right of the growing text region, the text overlaps them.
If you would prefer to push the other regions down rather than overlap them, you can change the properties for the text region. To do so:
Click in the text region.
Choose Properties from the Format menu.
Click on the Text tab.
Click on "Push Regions Down As You Type."
