Customizing a Toolbar

You can add, remove, or reorder the buttons that appear on the Standard toolbar, the Formatting toolbar, and Math toolbar. To do so:

1. Right-click on the toolbar.
2. Choose Customize from the menu to open the Customize Dialog.
3. To add a button, click on the button under "Available toolbar buttons" and click "Add," or drag the button to the "Current toolbar buttons."
4. To remove a button, click on the button under "Current Toolbar buttons." and click "Remove," or drag the button to "Available toolbar buttons."

To rearrange the buttons on a toolbar

1. Click on the button from the list of "Current Toolbar buttons."
2. Click "Move Up" or "Move Down" or drag the button up or down.

Notes:

• To hide or view a toolbar, choose Toolbars from the View menu.
• To quickly remove a button from a toolbar, press the [Alt] key and drag the button off the toolbar until it disappears.
• To quickly move a button from one toolbar to another, press the [Alt] key and drag the button to another toolbar.
• To quickly hide a visible toolbar, right-click on the visible toolbar and choose Hide from the menu.
