Highlighting a Region |
To change the background color of an equation, text region, graph, or any region:
Click in the region.
Choose Properties from the Format menu.
Click on the Display tab.
Click "Choose Color" to choose a highlight color other than the default.
Click in the box next to "Highlight Region."
You can also right-click on the region and choose Properties > Display.
Highlighted regions are filled with a color light enough that you can still see the text or math inside. To restore the background to its original state, just uncheck the "Highlight Region" box. By default, the background color for a highlighted region is yellow.
Choose Color/Highlight from the Format menu.
Select a color in the dialog box or click "Define Custom Color" to blend your own color.
This change affects all highlighted regions throughout your worksheet. To change the highlight color for selected regions only, select the region(s), then follow the steps above.
If you print a worksheet containing highlighted regions, the appearance of the highlights depends on the printer you are using. Some printers render a color as black, obscuring the equations or text; others render the same color as just the right shade of gray so the highlighted region is not obscured. The color should print in color on a color printer.
