Hyperbolic Functions

sinh(z) cosh(z) tanh(z)
csch(z) sech(z) coth(z)

Return the hyperbolic sine, cosine, tangent, cosecant, secant, and cotangent of z, respectively.

Arguments:

• z is a complex scalar angle in radians.

Notes:

• Hyperbolic functions are sensitive to roundoff errors under the following situations: very large arguments and singularities. Both cosh and sinh become unbounded when the argument goes to ± ∞.
• The hyperbolic functions are related to the trigonometric functions.
