
Welcome to BrickBreak, another clone of one of
the classic games of the 80's
1. Menu Selection
Use the Up/Down Arrows to move the
cursor, Spacebar to select an item.
If you'd like to access the options menu during
play, hit the Return key
2. The Game

You will control the paddle using the Mouse,
if you've got the shooting pill you can shoot by pressing the Mouse
button. The goal is to get all the bricks on the screen.
To quit the game while playing, type the ESC-key.
3. Bricks
There are four different types of bricks:

- Hit this brick one time and it will change to the
brick below
- (3 Hits required to destroy it)
|
|
- Hit this brick one time and it will change to the
brick below
- (2 Hits required to destroy it)
|
|
- Hit this brick one time and it will disappear,
sometimes releasing a pill...
- (1 Hit required to destroy it)
|
|
You can't destroy this brick, it's just there to make
your life harder. |
4. Pills
There are five different types of pills:

- Shooting Pill: This pill wil turn your paddle
into a shooting device, shoot using the Mouse
Button
|
|
- Fast Pill: This pill will make everything go
faster, if you are a thrill seeker get this pill
everytime you can...
|
|
- Sticky Pill: This pill will make your paddle
sticky and balls stay attached to the paddle
until you release them using the Mouse Button
|
|
- Triple Pill: This pill lets you play with three
balls at a time, it only has some effect if you
have a single ball on your screen.
|
|
- Normalize Pill: will cancel the effect of all the
above pills
|
5. Shareware
- This game is distributed as shareware and the
unregistered version is limited to 10 levels and has no
- hiscore registration. You can purchase a registration
code for only 10 Swiss Francs (about 7$) at
- http://www.foundationcompany.com/html/registerbb.html, by
registering you will be able to play
- 100 levels of fast paddle action and have hiscores
registration enabled plus (if you're lucky) win a
- CDROM game from us!!! Until december 1999, we will
randomly select one of our registered BrickBreak user
monthly and send the winner one of our CDROM games.

6. Agreement
- BrickBreak should not cause any damage to your machine
and/or software,
- however you are using it at your own risk.
